Having a variety of these on hand in the fridge is definitely a habit I'm going to continue after this challenge is done...they have saved me at every snack time!
These ones, are very simple to make, needing only a handful of ingredients, and even the kids will love them.
Recipe for 5 x 40gm bombs
3/4 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup ground almonds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 TBS vanilla plant protein powder
1/2 cup freeze dried strawberries, crumbled
1/2 cup peanut or other nut butter
50mls spring water
2 TBS melted dark, sugar free vegan chocolate
Place all the ingredients, apart from the chocolate, into a bowl and massage together to form a dough.
Form into equal sized bombs, place in the fridge to set for around 30 minutes.
Squiggle with the dark chocolate and pop back in the fridge until that craving hits...or as a pre or post workout helping hand!
